The Fleur

Rosa lapidis · The stone that blooms
A cathedral of gold rising to hold a single Portuguese-cut stone — chosen, or carved to your hand. Heart prongs. Emerald petals. A flower made permanent.

The Rule of The Fleur

Only ever Portuguese.

Concentric facet rings, layered like petals, set deeper than any modern brilliant. The cut that makes a stone appear to bloom from within. The Fleur is built around it — and only around it. No other cut will be set in this ring. Ever.

A cathedral band, lifted by milgrain. A floral basket cradling a Portuguese-cut stone in four heart-shaped prongs. Emerald petals trailing the shank like a stem.

It's not wearing a flower — it is a flower.
The Form

The Things That Do Not Change

I.

Cathedral & Milgrain

The band rises in two arches toward the stone. A line of milgrain beading runs along every edge — tiny gold pearls catching the light.

II.

Heart Prongs

Four hearts hold the stone, not claws. The smallest detail in the ring — and the one no one ever forgets.

III.

Emerald Petals

Marquise-cut emeralds set into the shank like leaves on a stem. Two on each side. A flower caught mid-growth.

From the Atelier

Two Fleurs, Forged

Study I · The Pink

Rosa Pallida

A 2.14ct fancy intense pink, Portuguese cut. Set in 18K rose gold to bring the warmth forward. The first Fleur, and the one that named the form.

Study II · The Oval

Rosa Longa

A 2.5ct elongated oval, Portuguese cut. The same architecture stretched lengthwise — the cathedral taller, the heart prongs more pronounced. Quieter. More architectural.

Your Choice

The Stone at the Heart

Portuguese Cut · One Stone, Two Paths

Every Fleur is built around a Portuguese-cut stone. We arrive at yours through one of two paths.

Path I

We Source It

Portuguese-cut stones are rare. We hold an active network of cutters and dealers — tell us the carat range, the color, the budget, and we present three to five options for you to choose from. Two to four weeks.

Path II

We Cut It

If you bring us rough — a heritage stone, a found gem, an heirloom — our cutter will study it and render it in the Portuguese cut for you. Eight to twelve weeks. Each one is unique.
